  • Lead Pastor - Joe Gregory


    Joe Gregory has served as our Lead Pastor since January 2015.  He comes from Indiana along with his wife Tracy and their three children, Jonas, Molly & Gavin.  Joe gave his life to Christ at the age of twelve and received the call to ministry at the age of eighteen.  He served as a Worship Arts pastor for 32 years, serving in Texas and Indiana before transitioning to a Lead Pastor.  He and Tracy were married in 2003 and Tracy home schools their children.  One of his favorite Bible verses is Romans 8:37 reminding him that “we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”  He enjoys time with his family, playing the piano, writing music, reading and have a good cup of coffee.

  • Worship - Kevin Highfill

    "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-29

  • Children's Ministry Coordinator - Amanda Miller

    Amanda has worked within the children's ministry department in local churches on and off for the last fifteen years.  She is the mother of five children; Desiree, Stephanie, Braden, Noah, and Addilyn.  She currently home schools three of her five children with the two oldest having graduated homeschool and are now in college.  Having come to know Jesus through the many mentors in Amanda's life, she holds a profound understanding of how important strong Christian adults are in the lives of children today.  A verse that has meant a lot in her walk of faith is 1 John 4:10 - "This is real love - not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins."

  • Administrative Assistant - Jennifer Boyd

    Jen's Dad was in the service so after beginning life in Colorado, she moved to Washington, did a bit of time in Germany and Kansas City and finally settled here in Jefferson City in 1976.  She has been married too her husband David in 1989 and together, they have a daughter, Kylie, who is 24 years old.  A former computer nerd with the State of Missouri, she has been with First Church of God since March 2018.  Her "life verse" is  Philipians 4:13 - and she is passionate about breaking bread with friends & family - the most fulling thing in life is feeding those you love.
